After nearly 20 years of being dedicated to this salon, & most if not all of my friends and family also, I was turned away because I had my 10 month old son with me, alone. I didn't make an appointment this time, didn't care if my normal stylist was not there because they always do great work, & she wasn't there that day. The elderly receptionist was very off putting, & acted as if I wanted her to watch my son or something, like I was some crazy teen with a baby and no responsibility, instead of a 28 year old adult who needs 12 inches cut from her head so her lo will stop pulling on it. I have had friends with children that are similar ages and sit in the front while they had their hair cut without a word from anyone, including my siblings when we were younger. She stated, "Don't you have have a seat you can strap him down in? What if someone comes in and takes him? You should come back when you have a sitter for him!" & refused to serve me. As if she would allow a person to come in and walk out with products, or someones kids! Needless to say, unfortunately, I will never go back! I will however go some place that doesn't just say they're a family hair salon, but means it!

I will definitely recommend them to people I know. They were very sympathetic to my situation, and made me feel cared for. I knew that I could count on them at all times. They never have that typical, annoying music playing here. If they do play music it is soothing and appropriate for the setting. One of my pet peeves is bad breath, and one thing that I have always noticed about this provider is that they never have bad breath. I've never even noticed a smell at all. Everything they told me in the beginning ended up turning out exactly the way they said it would. They were able to provide me everything they promised me. I've never doubted their abilities.
