Massage Therapy and Chiropractic
Specific TMJ (temporomandibular joint), Neck and Lower back therapeutic massage work.
Our Practice Clients requiring bodywork comprise the majority of our practice. Our private treatment rooms for these services include lowered lighting, relaxing background music, fresh linens, appropriate blankets/pillows/face rests and a place to hang your garments. Our clients remain draped during the session, with only the therapeutic work areas exposed.
We provide a solid range of bodywork, including: swedish/relaxation, sports, range of motion, deep tissue, any combination of those already described and "specific area" therapeutic work. We also provide sessions during matching time frames, so that you and a family member or friend can travel together. Sessions are available from 1 to 2 hours in length.
The other portion of our practice is comprised of chiropractic care. The majority of the chiropractic practice is considered to be based on an "as needed"/"maintenance-care" model. However, new injuries and referrals may accepted. New patients undergo an initial examination in order to assess specific needs and concerns before treatment is rendered. When necessary, recommendations for any other health care providers to be considered for the patients' case may be addressed at that time or during following office visits. If you have been referred by another health care practitioner, your prescription and concerns will be reviewed in order to structure the proper treatment schedule for you. You can expect your first chiropractic visit to last between 30 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the complexity of your situation. Follow-up chiropractic treatments are booked by appointment and usually last between 15 and 30 minutes depending on the patient's needs.
Note: We are happy to be able to provide services for senior clients. However, we do not perform massage on minors or pregnant women and ask that you please locate a specifically trained therapist for these two categories.
