My expertise within the field of shoulder surgery includes rotator cuff tears, shoulder fractures, impingement syndrome, shoulder arthritis and shoulder joint replacement.
I also perform total knee and hip replacements for arthritis, treat fractures and evaluate orthopaedic complaints from hand problems to foot pain.
I strive to educate my patients about their conditions in hopes that understanding the problem can alleviate some of the uncertainty and anxiety associated with orthopaedic conditions. Furthermore, my philosophy is centered on non-operative care. I approach orthopaedic conditions with surgical intervention only when non-operative means have failed or non-operative means are not indicated.
In the end, I individualize interventions and treat each of my patients as I would treat one of my own relatives. This ensures, in my mind, that I am always following the best course of action for each patient.
