Chris McFarland, DMD
Dr. McFarland is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and completed dental school at the University of Pittsburgh. Following graduation he moved to Augusta and the Medical College of Georgia where he completed a two and one-half years residency in periodontics (gum disease) and prosthodontics (implants, crowns, bridges, and dentures). He has served on the faculty of both the Medical College of Georgia and Emory University School of Dentistry. He recently completed a term on the State Dental Board, serving as a dental examiner and has been lecturing in the United States and Europe on Dental Implants and Restorative Dental techniques.Dr. McFarland has been married for thirty years to his wife Marie, who is also a dentist.
