With current "New" owners, the quality has decreased in the foods, and in management resources. The Head Nurse "Anne" was a great benefit to the home and to the clients. They replaced her with someone who is callous and not sociable with the clients. I know there is a lot of work, but kindness consideration should be an attribute not a paid benefit. Dr. Lamos comes in every Tuesday-well since my husband has been there since 28 April, he seen her once. The Respitory Tech is supposed to be an "EVERY DAY" therapy. My husband has seen him 2-3 times in 2 months. This is rediculous.
West Ledge was a FIVE STAR Nursing Home, now it is down to Two That is a great loss to any "Business" so if they want to do it right, get the same people that kept the rating high, and provide better food products. Some meals are not Edible! And the Cooks are doing their best with the money they get. Hey! Better business bring in more money. My husband wants to be discharged-and is not receiving the help he needs because the DOCTOR isn't around to give a script for oxygen equipment and the Respitory tech isn't there to give a Saturation report to be faxed to insurance company. POOR SERVICE very poor service.
