Follow your instincts. When you don't see employees, calls go directly to voice mail, no one listens to residents' concerns, staff back-talking to residents in the dining room, food inferior -- Weinb erg is a highly overpriced facility [not a home] for any family member.
My mom was a resident in the Stovroff Towers at Benderson Village for almost 5 years in assisted living. When she first got there they promised her everything but after awhile the quality of care got worse. They have only a few full time overworked aides that were very nice to her. But the rest are just temps. Every time I went there was a different temp aide. Some could care less and just go through the motions. Walk around on their cell phones. Don't answer the pages when needed. Sometimes make fun of the residents because they can't explain their needs clearly to them. There is no supervision there to complain to when you have to. No full time doctor or nurse. They are on call only. Unless you have money and can afford better housing I would not recommend any Weinberg facility. All they are worried about is the bottom line $.
