I was a patient in this facility for three weeks in 2012 following hip replacement surgery. I was one of only a few rehab patients at the time.
At first I wept at having to be there, for the pjysical facility is indeed a bit long in the tooth: the décor dreary and the beds old.
However, I received excellent care except on weekends when the nursing staff size was reduced and working unconscionable hours. (sixteen hour shifts with an eight hour break between shifts.)
The physical and occupational therapy was excellent, and I recovered from surgery in nearly record time.
