I have seen neglect and abuse at this facility. Run-out of food many times and very poor quality food. Also burned meals alot as well as cold food, watered down drinks. Ignored call light's daily. Lack of communication between Mgt and staff. Some residents were forgotten about and didn't even get their meals, until we brought to staffs attention. No excuse for this at all!!! Very understaffed!! New owners recently took over who are Pakistanis. So many times we have seen State and Corporate in the home due to violations. I would Not recommend The Laurel's of Sandy Creek. We are looking for a new facility even as I write this review. Pretty sad that our elderly loved ones are treated so badly especially in what is supposed to be their "Golden Years".

I wish I could give them less than one star. You can get better care at the animal shelter. They are VERY short staffed. The left hand never knows what the right hand is doing. They do not care about appearances at all. The nurses are very unfriendly, unhelpful, lazy, and argumentative. My grandmother was there for 2 weeks and went 2 straight days without her medication before we busted her out of there. She has AFib and diabetes for goodness sakes and they had not checked her blood sugar in the 2 weeks she had been living there. Very bad care!!
