I would not recommend this nursing home to anybody, anywhere at anytime. My family member is constantly falling out of bed and injuring himself. They keep him on medication that makes him lathargic an d it's like talking to a complete stranger. He comprehends very little. He looks ten times worse since he was put there by Jackson Memorial Hospital. The Dr.s are inattentive and rude. If you have a family member that needs 24 hour care, please, please look elsewhere. Your loved one will take a turn for the worse and fail if you allow him/her to stay at this facility. They have a lot of nerve calling it a nursing home...
My father has been at Perdue for close to a year. He is 91 and suffers from dementia. He has received outstanding care at Perdue. The staff is professional and attentive to my father's needs and th ose of the family. I am his son and I have had a wonderful experience with every member of the administrative and medical staff with whom I have had dealings. My father had stayed at another nursing home where he used to fall regularly, resulting in head injuries on two occassions that required hospitalization. Bottom line I highly recommend Perdue.
