I spent about 9 weeks there with my husband as the patient, and I felt that I was never sure about a few of the skilled nurses being as skilled as they should have been. Perhaps they were just too rushed with so much to do, but it did not appear to be a "well run machine".
I felt that the mealtime was rather straggling also. Too many patients needed to be fed, and there did not seem to be enough helpers in that area. Some helpless people waited to be fed until their food was cold.
The people in charge were very good, but there did not seem to be enough staff to carry the load with patients at mealtime and bedtime.
The facility is very nice, with many upgraded appointments in the new rehabilitation area. The rooms in the old section are quite small and very crowded, but the new addition is much better.
I am feeling certain that many of these problems have been corrected now, because my time there was a few years ago.

Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. I love how much attention to detail they show. They are loving, careful and meticulous. I never have to worry about them making a mistake or forgetting something. They've never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, and take every concern of mine very seriously. I didn't wait long at all. My appointments started on time. I was pleased that Friends is conveniently located so that I could stop on my way home from work. Signage on US RT 68 has improved to help people find this gem. The staff is friendly and supportive - visitors were always welcomed.
