I will never put a family member here again. Crete has little to no communication with family of residents - actually seems like they discourage communication. Nurses are nice enough, but managerial staff is rude, unaccommodating, and DO NOT return phone calls. So glad my family member will not be spending their last days at Crete. Lots of miscommunications between departments, very disorganized, hard to get straight answers out of anyone. It really feels as though they have somehow gotten the idea that they can kind of do as they please because no one cares about the residents. For the money we paid to have my family member at crete, he should have been treated like a king. So much more to say - but I hope anyone reading this gets the point: avoid like the plague.

This facility is terribly understaffed and aides like to disappear. Med aides don't answer call lights at <url removed> residents are dirty, hair not brushed, residents are not helped with personal hygene. Residents are always wet or soiled, furniture in hallway has pee stains on them. Food is terrible, they burn or over cook the food, they tell the residents there isn't enough food for seconds but you see staff walking around eating the food. Soiled brief's in trash cans, smells terrible inside. So glad my family is not there anymore!!! Beware of this place.

They are almost always unavailable. It was difficult to get an ideal appointment time that fit my schedule. They want you to supply your own wheel chair, etc. I wouldn't trust them to care for my loved one after I saw first hand how unsafe their facility is. It was pretty hard to find the building, but I eventually found it. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. Every one who visited said how bad the place was, one being the Pastor.
They received a patient on a Friday & on Sunday, they still had not changed his dressing, & when it started bleeding NO ONE there knew what to do; so family members took care of it. Unacceptable!!
I could go on & on, but I'm saving it for my complaint. Absolutely horrible place.
