The Chapel was the worse place we could have sent my step dad, but we didn't know. He was totally neglected and in bad shape when we removed him from there. I can only hope that they close down because I since heard even more horror stories of that place. So please don't send your loved one there. I have never written a bad review about a place or person before but I just feel in my heart that this is the right thing to do, they were that bad. Hopefully I can spare some people from the misfortune that my stepdad and others went through.

We found the charger for my husband's vac pump in the stuff that I picked up from the nursing home. He was sent, via ambulance, back to he hospital because the nursing home claimed that the pump wasn't working. In other words, they never had that pump connected while he was there!
My husband messed his pants on the first day at the nursing home. Two nurse aides clean him up but never put on clean underwear and he was still without underwear when he returned to the hospital 48 hours later, even though two complete sets of clothes were delivered to the nursing home.
The nursing home was late with every medication, at least by one hour. Several times, they indicated that they hadn’t received his pain medication from the pharmacy, so he once went 12 hours without receiving anything.
My husband asked for a walker, but the nursing home said that they don’t have any walkers, just wheelchairs, so he was out of luck unless I delivered one myself.
There was no physical therapy for the 48 hours he was at the nursing home, although the reason that he was sent to the nursing home rehab was for physical therapy.
Antibiotics were to be administered via a port in his arm, with saline on a pole, but that never transpired.
During the 48 hours that he was at the nursing home, all that he had to eat was a banana and a glass of orange juice, with no encouragement to eat more in the dining room or even in his room.
