All I will say is simply this: Visit the facility on a weekend before you place someone at Belaire. During the week the "Staff" is stumbling all over each other, but during the weekends there is nothing but an overworked skeleton crew working. The rooms are furnished like a skid-row motel and my Vets office is cleaner by comparison. We stayed with our family member 24/7 for several days until we could relocate them to another facility. I cannot believe anyone would honestly rate this facility above the minimum.
I feel like they go out of their way to accommodate my schedule. I always get the appointment time I want. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert.
I did not feel safe at all in their care. I definitely had doubts about their qualifications. I was very unimpressed with their level of skill. It seemed like they had just started yesterday. Almost every time I visit, I have to remind them who I am, why I'm there, and what my circumstances are. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. The waiting area is rather small, but there is always a seat available. It would be nice if it was more spacious, but I've never had to stand.
