My mother was a resident there for all of 2 weeks in which time she acquired pressure sores on her heels. Staff stated those sores were from her shoes, however no one did anything to rectify the situation as any reasonable person would. They also never put any kind of dressings or whatever. A resident with fragile skin issues should have had skin assessments done and the CNA's should have notified the charge nurse of her wounds. Shame on you for not caring about and for my Mom. We (her children) and she placed her trust in you.

This is the best state run nursing home. The care & concern of the staff was incredible.
Very clean & good food. We think this nursing home should be recognized for the great job they are doing. Sure wish all nursing homes were as good. Pays to own property in Allegan County because if you ever need a nursing home this one is the best! So glad it is run by the state with higher standards of care, staff, etc. than privately owned ones.
