My father, a Vietnam Veteran, was suffering from dementia and was staying at Alden of Naperville under a contract with the VA. He was having behavior issues and Naperville moved him from Alden of Naperville to Alden of Chicago (South-Side) WITHOUT NOTIFY HIS FAMILY OR THE VA! I have a real problem with this. Again was suffering from dementia and without a doubt he DID NOT FULLY UNDERSTAND WHAT HE WAS SIGNING and they took advantage of him and the situation.

Also, Alden of Chicago, is not a VA contracted nursing home and now they are charging us for his stay. What Alden of Naperville did is unethical!

It was easy to get the appointment time that worked for my schedule. It was nice to hear how much the staff respected them. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. They gave about the same level of care as others I have been to for the same problem. .
