Dr. Jay Marienthal grew up in Lighthouse Point, Fl, where he attended Deerfield Beach High School and graduated in 1999 as a recipient of the International Baccalaureate Diploma. He then attended the University of Michigan, where he earned a Bachelor of Science and Engineering in Industrial and Operations Engineering in 2003. After that he continued on to earn a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology in 2005 and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2007, at the National University of Health Sciences.
While at National Dr. Jay was involved in many clubs and activities. He attend the 2005-2007 National Chiropractic Legislative Conferences in Washington DC and had the opportunity to lobby in favor of Chiropractic to the United States government. He also attended the 2004-2006 ChiroGames, where he competed as an athlete in Soccer, Tennis, and Volleyball. In 2006-2007 he served as the Student Body President, as well as being an the Vice-President of the Applied Kinesiology Club.
By the time Dr. Jay finished Chiropractic school he had also completed the certification programs to allow him to practice Acupuncture, Hypnotherapy, and Applied Kinesiology. This allows him to take a Holistic approach with every patient and help patients structurally, nutritionally, and emotionally.
