I want to share this experience so that no one else will pay to be treated like this. It isn't worth 230.00.
I went to see Dr. Ruthrauff today for a medicine switch. I came in prepared. By that, I mean that I have done a lot of research on the internet about different antidepressants and their various effects. Also, I am a college grad and know a lttle about chemisty and phsysiology.
He was very angry with any input that i had regarding meds. He snapped at me at one point, "I know. I'm the one that went to medical school."
He antagonized and belittled me the entire session.
When i wnet to pay the $250.00 he said, "Wow, teaching yoga must really pay off." (thick with sarcasm)
I have a successful career and I have no idea why he needed to put it down. But needless to say, this is not someone you should seek help from. He will tear you down the whole session. At one point I had to hold back tears. They weren't tears because we were talking about something emotional. They were tears because I was so frustrated with his attitued and how he kept putting me down. Please don't do it to yourself.
