I was physically sick, not mentally ill, so none of the drugs helped, many were harmful, and the things I was told only added to my anxiety level. He is a nice enough guy'but was pressing me to go into some kind of crisis care facility, when what was happening to me was a side effect of coming off of Seroquel (the deviils own poison--how the FDA approved is beyond me). I had avoided taking it forever, but was desperate. Fortunately he sent me to a PTSD (MY latest diagnosis) specialist who looked at me, and listened to me, and sent me to Dr. Andrew Heyman (who Dr. R. said would be able to do nothing to help me). WRONG. He ordered the right tests, and when they came back he told me to " forget everything I'd been told about myself", and got me off the Seroquel..What I needed was antibiotics (Lyme), no gluten (celiac) and special B/folate supplements (MTHFR genetic defects). Sometimes depression/insomnia/panic etc. are symptoms of physical illnesses, and I certainly didn't look wel,l but all my physical problems where attributed to my mental status. He never even called me orr the therapist he sent me to when I didn't come back.
