The practice is a two physician internal medicine practice. My partner, Gail Beyer, M.D., and I are board certified internal medicine physicians. Ours is a small independent practice, not affiliated with any large medical group. We have no operations managers or productivity quotas. We have no "clients," "customers," or "covered lives." We have patients we care for, whose names we know, and whose trust we value.

Services We diagnose and treat both acute and chronic medical conditions. Many of our patients have multiple medical problems, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, asthma, emphysema, and stomach problems. Others are healthy folks who come in for a preventive health exam ("physical") once a year or to discuss concerns about health and wellness. We also see our patients for non-emergent acute medical problems such as "colds," "flu," sinus infections, bronchitis, gastrointestinal disturbances, urinary infections, skin rashes, and the like. We provide common vaccinations (tetanus, "pneumonia" vaccine, and flu shots). We draw blood on site for analysis at a reference laboratory. We do electrocardiograms (EKG's), lung function tests, and treat minor skin disorders (eg. freezing warts, removing skin tags).

Dr Meyers is the best Internist I have ever had. He is the most caring individual and spends ample time with each of his patients. I don't mind waiting an hour for him because I know he is giving the patient before me the same care he gives me. He has sent me to the top specialists in thier fields when I need additional care. Not once have I had an unpleasant experience with him. My sister who lives an hour and a half away will be using him and I recommend him to all my friends.
