I didn't go into the office but I made a call to get a new prescription for BP meds, and was denied because I haven't been in the office this year yet, 2022. I did call in October 2022 but the doctor was on vacation for two weeks so I did try to get service for an annual physical. My new prescriptions for my BP meds were denied because of this reason. I was given an ultimatum to come in for an appointment before I could get my BP meds which was hurtful because I thought I had a good relationship with the doctor. I called twice to see about my new prescription and was denied both times which seems that my health comes secondary to getting paid for a office visit. I feel that this was also unethical for a doctor to put money before care and don't know if it conflicts with the Hippocratic Oath.
