A very cesarean happy doctor. She scheduled me to be induced “in hopes of” a natural birth. She scheduled me to be induced because she said she was going out of town on my actual due date, and if I wanted her to be present during my birth, then I needed to have the baby early. After induction, she gave me 16 hours of labor on my 1st baby and that was it, and then she performed a cesarean without any medical reasoning. I switched doctors with my 2nd baby, and they looked over the records and confirmed that there was no medical reason Dr. Ferrara should have performed a cesarean. I would not recommend her. Dr. Ferrara is a selfish doctor, and I’m so sad that I trusted her to care for me during such a vulnerable time.
