I called to make a appointment I was told that he will not see patients from a group home facility.However,it was not because of insurance or etc... she specifically kept repeating No Group Home Clients. I asked several times just making sure I heard the staff correctly. This is very difficult due to the fact of turning down someone who have the same benefits of the next just live a different way . I believe that people are not aware of how they hurt the ones that can't help themselves and need to be mindful that they can not help the way they were BORN! This is a problem for the MR community or etc .. There are hardly any Doctors who want to treat them but the truth is they go to the Doctor more then any average person . Think about it if it was your child ,spouse ,family member, close friend or just have a heart for another human being.

He assumed too much without doing thorough investigation in my opinion. I only talked to the doctor for a few minutes but felt like he had his mind made up about my treatment within 30 seconds. I had been having headaches nearly every single day for almost a year and he wanted to put me on medication used mainly for people with bipolar/epilepsy. I later found this medicine could cause tremors as well as seizures if stopped quickly. When I walked out of the office, I felt as if my only option was to take this pill and saddened. I was looking for a doctor who would invest more time in figuring out WHY I was having headaches instead of treating the symptoms. Overall, I felt he was lazy in my diagnosis and would rather prescribe a pill than help me even if that pill caused more problems. I later found I had severe TMJ and sinus pressure. Started using a neti pot and night guard. Headaches are gone without any medication! Seems like such a simple answer when it could have gone so differently.
