Dr. Cole is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with a certificate of added qualification in hand and upper extremity surgery. He is a member of OrthoMemphis, which is a group practice of subspecialist partners who treat each and every musculoskeletal problem or ailment ranging from the spine to the foot.

Dr. Cole is one of three hand and upper extremity surgeons who make themselves available for daily coverage of acute injuries (OrthoStat appointments). In addition to acute injuries, each day brings unique challenges for the physicians and therapists of the OrthoMemphis Hand Center. We treat hand and upper extremity disorders beginning with the newborn and continuing throughout every stage of life. While orthopaedic surgery has become subspecialized, hand surgeons serve as the pediatric, sports medicine, total joint and trauma physicians for the hand and upper extremity. Many problems that we treat can be resolved without surgery.

At OrthoMemphis, the Hand Center medical staff includes three fellowship-trained hand surgeons, Dr. Jeff Cole, Dr. Bill Bourland, and Dr. Dan Fletcher, and two dedicated hand therapists. The Hand Center space was carefully designed to offer maximal interaction between the patient and the treating physician and hand therapist.
