My eldest child has been to this office since she was four and my youngest her whole life. I have never been overjoyed at the office, but have never been as unsatisfied as I was my last encounter with the office and staff. First, the waiting room is filthy. The seats and walls are dirty, I am not sure if they are ever cleaned beyond being sprayed with Lysol. But, this is not even the reason I would not recommend going here. My daughter went to them with a sore throat and fever. Even I, as a parent, could look at her throat and see the white spots covering her tonsils. The first nurse took us back to the room and weighed her and asked about symptoms. When asked about her appetite, I said she didn't eat much the night before and nothing that day. The response "Oh, she's a picky eater". What?! How do you come to the conclusion that a child with a sore throat and fever that didn't eat that day is picky? Anyway, her next words were "I'm going to to a screp test". Yes SCREP, again, WHAT?!? Then gave my daughter the direction to "out your tongue", not stick out your tongue, just to out her tongue. The nurse did not get a good sample, and it came back negative. The next nurse came in to get a flu test and said that if it came back negative we would do another strep swab - OK, sounds good. Next thing I know, the doctor comes in, looks at her throat, says she is negative for the flu and to go home it must be a virus. Instead of arguing (like I should have), I left. Two days later, in so much pain she could only whimper, I took my daughter back. Big surprise - she was positive for Strep. So now, I am out two co-pays to tell me what I knew on Monday. My daughter has suffered needlessly for two extra days. On the way out, the second nurse that had wanted to do another strep test saw me and my daughter and made the final comment that made me decide this was no longer the place for my child. She said, "i told the doctor we should do another strep test, but we didn't because the doctor said she didn't look sick enough for it to be strep". So now, because I gave my daughter tylenol to bring down her 102 degree fever (that I told them she had), she didn't look sick enough to actually treat as if she were sick. Also, on the second visit, another nurse told my daughter it was her fault a finger prick hurt because she moved her hand and she should "learn her lesson" not to move. I am so over this place - DO NOT take your child here if you can help it.

There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit. I appreciated that they didn't have that typical elevator music on. I trust them over any other doctor I've ever been to. I'm never unsure of their motives, and I've never doubted that they've always had my child's best interest at heart. They were ready to see me when I showed up for my appointment. I never had to wait for them to show up. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly.
