Went into a sort of mini-er. It's a normal large primary care practice (12+ doctors) during the day, then after hours and on week-ends they accept walk-ins. I have a lengthy history of chronic back problems and then was in a car accident that TOTALED my car (giant SUV plowed through the drivers side). Needless to say I was in severe pain. Given my age (20) she assumed I was a drug seeker. She lied and told me the x-ray results could take hours, yet when I asked the x-ray tech how long the results usually take and she said 15-20 minutes, which was accurate. Then when I asked her what she could do for the pain her first response was "We don't write prescriptions for narcotics" which is a lie since I have walked out of the same place with a script for 60 percocets. I even said "I don't care if it's a narcotic, i need something/anything for this pain", and she wouldn't even give me anything. She just kept telling me to take Tylenol... What kind of doctor tells a patient that was just in a car crash and has a long history of back problems to take Tylenol?

She seems very out of touch, she didn't seem to be aware of current medical journals/new medicines/etc. I guess she learned everything she needed to know about medicine when she graduated 39 years ago.

Avoid at all costs.
