Probably the worst therapist I've seen. Dr. Murray is moody, you never know "who" he is going to be at each appointment. He has double-booked multiple times (given someone else an appointment at the same time as mine and then saying he's sorry -- but I've had to reschedule and spend the money to drive out for the missed appointment because of his disorganization), which doesn't make me feel like much of a priority as a patient. He calls me up at home and apologizes endlessly, but it is really irritating that he isn't better organized to begin with. He has an office alone with no receptionist and at times I get weird vibes from him that I haven't gotten from other male therapists (which is why I finally left and got another doctor). He shares way more personal information than other therapists I've seen (tells me about problems between him & his wife, rivalry between himself and his siblings, deaths of family members, dissatisfaction with nurses he works with at the hospital, and other things that just don't seem appropriate to be sharing with a patient. Has told me he thinks about me outside of our sessions and that he loves me which really weirded me out. I finally had to leave. Maybe that's his way of doing therapy, but it feels intrusive and a little weird.
