My previous PCP (whom I liked very much personally) left the impression that "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" and attributed many of my complaints merely to getting older, whereas Dr. Newton leaves no stone unturned. Following my first visit I had no fewer than 5 referrals to specialists to either find out the cause of a condition or rule out something. He makes referrals to the top doctors in their field in our area. Dr. Newton is very thorough, a good listener, pleasant and easy to talk to, and current on medical developments. If not the best internist here, he's tied for first.

Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place. I've been to one or two places that had a really bad smell. I was worried I would encounter it here too but I didn't notice anything. I was amazed at how wonderfully they treated each of their staff members. They were so appreciative and thankful. I've never seen any employer treat their staff better, and it made me want to come back that much more. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. They are completely committed to helping me as long as it takes to find the best solution. I never have to worry that they'll back out or give up if a solution isn't reached immediately, which has been a problem for me at other places.
