I was new to the area; therefore, new to Dr. Trew. One day at work, I became seriously ill, did not know why, and had to leave. I knew I would never be able to return without receiving proper medical care. After arriving at her office, and explaining why I needed to be seen, devastation came over me to learn it was not a day she saw patients! Regardless, her kind receptionist alerted Dr. Trew. While expecting to be turned away, instead, Dr. Trew interrupted her busy day to treat my illness so I could return to work. I was just her patient , but to me she saved my life. I am forever grateful to Dr. Helen Trew for her wisdom, compassion, and dedication to her patients!
