Dr. Zanovich was amazing, listening to my questions and taking care of all of my gynecological needs. Had to leave due to insurance changing but hoping to return!!! Love him!

I had the worst experience I've ever had at a doctor's office with Dr. Zanovich. I scheduled an appt. to get a Depo shot. The secretary was polite & confirmed that I did not need a well woman exam. I confirmed this as I have an appt. w/ a female dr. for this in a couple months when I'm due. The secretary scheduled my appt. for contraceptives & all seemed well. I printed off the new patient paperwork & took it to my appt. I arrived at Dr. Zanovich's office & was taken back by the nurse. She asked me verbally to answer all the questions I had already answered on my new patient paperwork that was sitting right in front of her. She then told me that they do not carry the Depo shot in their office & that I would have to go get it. The secretary never informed me of this when I made the appt. Dr. Zanovich came in & seemed extremely friendly and jovial. He joked with me & seemed very happy. That all changed when he told me that he would be performing a breast and pelvic exam on me before he would give me a prescription for my Depo. I explained that I wasn't due for my well woman exam yet & that I have an appt. in a couple months for that. He became very cold and callous with me telling me that he wasn't going to give me my Depo unless he could do an exam. I explained that when I made my appt. the secretary confirmed that I did not need an annual exam & only needed the Depo. He told me that he didn't know if any thing was wrong with me & he had to do an exam. I explained that I included all my past medical history with names, addresses, phone numbers, and fax numbers along with a release so he could get this info. He responded "That's not going to help, I can't pull that information from the clouds". Dr. Zanovich became a very rude, unpleasant, confrontational, angry man when I wouldn't let him do a breast and pelvic exam on me. I think he is in this profession for the wrong reasons. Dr. Zanovich is the reason why I refuse to let a man do annual exams on me. He reflects very poorly on the rest of the men in the medical profession do ing OB-GYN work.
