Following my husband's colonoscopy, Dr. Volak came out and said he was one of only 2 people that morning that didn't require anything being biopsied and sent to the lab. His colon was clean. We got paperwork with 8 pictures showing everything was fine. That evening, Dr. Volak called and said they had results on a polyp that come back from the lab and they didn't know who it belonged to. Judging by the time, they thought it was my husband's. I reminded Dr. Volak of what he said right after the procedure and he started talking about "a new girl helping him" and "lots of phone calls". They didn't know whose it was, but they billed our insurance company for it and now we're expected to pay the co-pay. We're very upset. Trust is a precious thing and he has lost ours.
