Every time I come in for an appointment, and throughout the appointment, I'm always having to remind them who I am and what my circumstances are. It's very frustrating. The staff here could have been a lot more friendly, considering this is a family doctor. I did not feel very welcome. Sometimes, I have to persuade them that I have an important concern that needs their attention. There have been times that they've paid attention to my concerns, but not many. They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. I wish they had a few more staff members on hand. They weren't severely understaffed but it was obvious they could've used more help.
I just asked for my medical records and was spoken to as if I was a 3 year old. The nurse who is in charge of records couldn't even tell me if there was a fee or what my records even consisted of. So I was transfered to to another have my "extremely complex situation" resolved. Just to be greated with more incompetence. She even argued with me about lacking the specific knowledge required for her to perform her job. This is a doctors office & everything shouls be taken care of. They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. I have been disappointed by the staff everytime I have called with my questions and concerns. They definitely could have been more polite. When comparing them to others in their field, I would say they are by far the worst I have ever seen. Even CVS told me they are a very unreliable place. Unless youve got a cold or soar throat. Pretty much I've recieved more help and useful information on my own. So why am I paying these people to neglect me and treat me with utter disrespect, even hang up on me twice.
The staff is completely Incompetent and the doctor is extremely unhelpful. They hang up on you and refuse to handle situations in which they have screwed up. They never get anything done on time, especially filling my prescriptions when I need them. They keep asking me to come back in and charging me for visits, when I just need a prescription refill. The younger nurses (24-26 years old) who work there, absolutely refuse to help or find a solution to any problems that occur. A simple fax or phone call is never handled in the correct manner. My local CVS even told me to change doctors because they are tired of fixing Dr. Ferguson's mistakes with his patients. I only got my prescription refilled, because the pharmacy called him to get it for me!! What a huge waste of money and time. I feel very neglected by someone who I thought was my DOCTOR! They need to clean up the staff, and get it together! I am definitely not the only one who feels this way....research this doctor before you go see him! (or dont see him at all!)
