I was given the soonest possible appointment by the caring and considerate staff. While the doctor stays busy, there is very little wait on the date and time of appointment. I believe that, given my circumstances, I was paired with the optimal cardiologist and believe that I am receiving the best possible care for my personal medical situation. The staff has always been able to answer my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones that should be referred 'up the chain'. All staff that I have encountered I would classify as highly competent (and I'd managed surgical offices and worked with medical staff for years). I would rate Dr. Kaneshige 5 stars as well as the entire practice. My answers prompted a 4.5 star rating, which I assume is due to the fact that, in truth, I was unable to get in immediately. I believe it is unrealistic to expect a specialist of this caliber to be available on short notice for a new patient appointment and the fact is that I did have to wait a little while which I know to be reasonable. The staff made me feel as comfortable as possible and were very attentive while I waited for my appointment date and time. The office is very prompt and little to no wait ON the date and time of my appointment. Although my rating has defaulted to 4.5 stars, I would give a strong 5 star and certainly recommend Dr. Kaneshige. I would also tend to feel very confident about recommending the entire practice (5 star again) given the experience that I've had with the staff, including some other medical staff.
