It never fails how long I have to wait on hold when I call them. I usually press the # as if I was another Dr and could get through quicker to make an appointment. The last time I called, the person who answered on the Dr. line switched me back to the appointment line where I waited for over 8 minutes. I called the doctor's office on my cell phone and was switched again after I told them I was waiting on the other line. I could tell the staff was engaged in small talk when someone finally answered. Very unprofessional since this happens all the time!!! Love the doctor but the staff needs to be reminded the patient should be their priority. Wish the doctor would read this, too.

First, I must say that dr Stephenson was nice to me. She spent time with me and answered my questions. However, the billing office is terrible. I was told that the tests that were done were preventive care, and should be covered by the insurance. The one test that I did was for dieases, and if I would not of done it if I knew I'd be charged. I've been with one partner for years. So, I received two bills regarding the test for diseases. I called the billing office, my insurance company and they all tell me different reasons. I left a message for dr. Stephenson to call me back and she never did! Finally, a rep from my ins. company decided to help me. It took her two weeks to get back at me because of the difficulty of getting in touch with the billing office. The billing office told her something completely diffrent. It made sense to me but why nobody explained that to me. I had to spend days to contact diffrent people and not get an answer.
In nutshell, if the doctor hadn't asked about the test for diseases, let me know that the ins. company would not cover it I wouldn't be stuck paying two bills. No one explained to me the real reason! I will not be coming back!
