I suffered severe neck and back pain for 4 months after the colonoscopy. Two other doctors said it was probably from the procedure . Although I have a history of colon polyps, some left at last colonoscopy, he announced from the hallway that I had "no polyps.' Did not come to bedside and did not discuss procedure. I learned from official report that he said I am "high-risk" for colon cancer - never shared with me. Procedure done at doctor-owned facility where there is little accountability. Never followed-up to my questions to the nurse about the procedure. I had to get dressed in a public restroom after the procedure- unsanitary, and was rushed out after the procedure, never fully recovering from anesthesia. Never addressed my initial complaint of bloating, gas and foul stool. Did not properly access me during office visit - I never got out of the chair I sat in while waiting. Will not choose to have procedure at doctor-owned facility again, and will choose American-trained physician in the future.
