I went to Dr Paul Lerner after an ENT doctorn suggested that I see a neurolist By the wayfound Dr, Paulm Lerners name in my HMO guide. I had a 230pm apt. The office manager ovennrbooked and I was not seen until after 415pm. DrLlerner sent me for a brain MRI and a blood workup. It took the office manager nearly 4 days to send the request to my HMO, I calledl DR.Lerners office several times and pleaded to the office manage to please send The request to my HMO as I want to get well.. she dragged her heels and it took her nearly 4 days to send in the request. I want to find out the results of my Brain MRI. She replies back to me Its ok You cant see the Doctor his ion vacation. I then asked well can I see whoever is taking his rounds / no one is taking his round she replied back to me .I sencerly hope that an office worker without a medical degree interpeted my MRI. fter 2 weeks Dr. Lerner has yet to call me . I called his serviec over the weekend and left a message to no avail. On Monday i called the offce and the office manger not only screens his calls but practicly runs interferance for D.Lerner making it immpossibe lto speak to him . She told me that I must come in to the office to hear my results from Dr, Lerner. I said listen I spent $300 om test that Dr.lerner orderd for me to take ,She then telsl me to have my primary read the results to me ..My primary Dr. did not order theses rest Dr Lerner did . It seems that Dr, Paul Lerners office wants me to come into the office so they can bill the HMO acouple of hundred bucks rather than speak to me over the phone , Bottom line find a diffeent Nuerogist if you value your health
