Also just like the other reviewer he made feel uncomfortable about my weight issue as well without doing a proper BMI test!!! mind you!!!!

I was 13 minutes late due to going to the other side of the building for the appointment and then having to redirect myself to the correct place for the appointment. This is what caused me to be late also I got the check in time confused with the actual time of my appointment so I will own up to that. Also there was a line at the Internal Medicine front desk.

After waiting for an half an hour I informed the front desk, my name had not been called. The front desk staff stated to me that Vigil's nurse was informed to make me wait for an hour and 20 minutes due to my lateness. I was furious!!!

Finally when I did see Vigil he informed me that even though I was a new patient, the visit was going to be a short because he had a plane to catch and I was 13 minutes late!!!. I was in shock by this!! He then went ahead and asked me the standard new patient questions and entered the answers in the computer. He was not nice to me at all, no bedside manner. I did not like his tact.

I do not think I will be sticking with this doc again or seeing him again. I had a headache, pressure behind my eyes and ear pain which was not even looked at because of his "plane to catch". I did tell his nurse that I was in pain so it was documented during the intake visit. The reason why I stuck this visit out was due to the fact I needed a referral to neurology for possible seizure disorder.

He did order labs, of course complain about my weight, want to test me for diabetes, referred me to neurology but that is about it. I found him very difficult to speak too. He is not easy going at all. His nurse is nice though.

I believe Vigil is a great doc it is just we started out on a bad footing but it was enough to scare me away!!!

One of the first things I noticed about this business was how many different areas of the building were handicap-accessible. I have been to other places where I couldn't tell how someone in a wheelchair could even enter, but they really spent a lot of time to accommodate people with all different needs. They are almost always unavailable. It was difficult to get an ideal appointment time that fit my schedule. They either didn't read my information or didn't pay any attention to it. (Also he was specifically rude to me about my weight issues, if you have anything but normal weight, avoid him as your doctor.) Even though they had my information right in front of them, I kept having to explain it to them and remind them why I was there. There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit. They need to treat their staff with more respect. They weren't overly rude but they could have been a lot nicer.
