Dr. Steinbaum is a true professional in every aspect. His receptionists are friendly and will go out of their way to fit you in for an appointment if you have an emergency. But that does not mean that your scheduled appointment will be delayed so he can fit someone in, the staff makes sure that you are seen as close to your appointment time as physically possible. The office is clean and comfortable. Dr. Steinbaum explains everything that he is doing, and really tries to make sure that the patient is comfortable with what he is doing. He does not always use the newest version of the equipment available, which is a benefit to me. I had to see another eye doctor when I was out of town a few months ago, and their "modern" equipment took twice as long and some of it was really scary! I will continue to see only Dr. Steinbaum until he closes his practice (which will be a very sad day!), and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a kind and experienced ophthalmologist!
