I went to Dr. Marcus because I wanted a female dermatologist to perform laser hair removal on my bikini area. I found her on the Internet at this site. I entered the office at 11:15 am and was surprised to see I was the only patient. I was taken aback upon entering the lobby and finding a soiled carpet. Dead leaves had blown in and dirt was tracked everywhere. No one could vacuum? The decor was originally done in the early 80s and has yet to be updated. There were dead plants in the window. I was directed to a room where I met the doctor. We talked about the laser process. Her price was very expensive - $500 a session. I put off doing this with her based on the price. Instead, I then asked her about Botox and decided to have it done while I was there. This was my first time getting it done. She instructed me to go into the bathroom across the hall to wash my face. The bathroom was dirty and the toilet was filthy! I thought that I must be crazy to do this! She did the Botox. Afterwards, it looked like I was stung by angry bees! I was bruised for a week afterwards. When a voice inside your head (or the dirty doctor's office) tells you to get the heck out of there - listen to it! And for the record, I have since had Botox by Dr Ganchi in Ridgewood with no pain or bruising. Also, I bought a $300 Groupon for laser with great success from Innovative Esthetics. Please don't bother with this lady. Had I seen someone post such an honest review, I'd never have used her.

Dr. Marcus saw 11/20/2012 my son Daniel who was accompanied by my wife. He had contracted a severe scabies infection during 2-month stay in Bergen Regional hospital. During a visit of 10-15 minute costing $128 Dr. Marcus confirmed that it was scabies, and issued 2 prescription forms. We realized later that we got to talk to the hospital about that, and asked by the phone Dr. Marcus for a written diagnosis. This most basic request was bluntly rejected in a manner bordering with a rudeness. I could only regret - unfortunately too late - that my wife didn't request this before making a payment It goes without saying that I would never go to Dr. Marcus again, and would discourage others, if asked for an advise, but in case your circumstances would force you to, better get what you need before you pay.
