What a magpie. He repeats everything you say in a questioning tone!! Loves to hear himself talk. Prick. His office and furniture are as old as he is!!

I went to this guy because I googled general doc's in the area. Now that I have dependable insurance, I wanted to see a doctor to get checked out and talk about some things I had held off on mentioning to docs (I didn't want to have 'preexisting conditions' when I went to get insurance.) The lady on the phone was very friendly, and expressed that she felt that Dr. Berkin was the best.
I felt like he thought I was silly for expressing the concerns I have. Although I rarely go to doctors, and take no prescription drugs, when I revealed I had a few concerns that I may have a few things that we should talk about, he gave me incredulous looks, and discounted them, saying that I am "too young" (I'm 28) for the ailments I was concerned about, and for another concern, he cited that that condition was 'overdiagnosed' and asked me what my symptoms were, while he sat there with a smug look on his face, like he thought I had sought him out for drugs or something. I left feeling stupid and misunderstood. He gave me referrals but I am afraid that the doctors he referred me to will treat me like an idiot as well.
