Told him I had trouble going to sleep because of the tremors and my toes curling up asked him for something to help it. He asked what I was doing for it now. I told him vodka - tonic. He told me to keep doing what I'm doing now

When my mother was first referred to Doctor Steven Mellies about 15 years ago..the referring physician, Dr. Christ, assured my timid mom..not to worry..he was among "the Good Guys"! This Doctor came into his office @7:00 AM the next day to address her serious symptoms. Not only has my own and several family members found him to be warm accessible and interactive..but totally committed to clarifying symptoms and thoughtfully presenting choices and recommendations. I feel fully included in my own care and treatment. His style is echoed by his staff who are warm, efficient and flexible on every level.
