I had an appointment with Don Marshall today...He filled 3 of my teeth...I was told we would deal with the cavities I had one cheek at a time...He started to provide an anesthetic to both sides and I asked him if we were doing the one side only, he said yes, I said oh God, I can't do that, and he said why not? and I told him because of the time and the trauma.
He got mad and walked away.
I've had some terrible dental experiences, but this one today is by far the worst.
When he was near the end of the procedure, I felt a soreness and I said I feel something...and then he lost it.
He jerked the nitrous off of me then proceeded to say the following:

"You tell me this now when I'm almost done???
not when i'm drilling?
but now when i'm almost done?
that is ridiculous...come off it!!
He went on and on and then left the room I was in.
I couldn't speak...I just sat there and then I began to cry.
He came back in and said "If you think you weren't treated right, the way you think you should be treated, I'll be only too happy to refer you to another dentist, if you think you weren't treated right!!

I sat there with tears streaming down my face and the precious nurse felt so badly for me....all the ladies felt bad for me.
He had said all of that stuff to me loudly enough for everyone to hear it...
When he came back in still lecturing me, I told him in a quiet voice, I only was saying that it felt sore.
when I was in the chair and crying I whispered to my nurse that I didn't do anything to him...why did he do this to me...I don't understand it...she said, I know honey...

my nurse and some of the other women, tried to be comforting...they were wonderful!

I left there sobbing...

All the time! I think I got a gray hair while I was waiting
