GREAT office! Never knew dentists were so funny!!

I was a patient of the Dental Spa in Lake Ridge for over 9 yrs. I left because of an overall eroding of the quality of their care. Ever since they opened their larger 2nd office, they seemed to care more about extracting every $$ they could out of me rather then the best possible care for my teeth. Go to their wevbsite and look at the picture of their team - it was rare when I saw a dentist that was actualy pictured as being part of their practice - usually it was the "flavor of the month". I was seldom seen by the same dentist twice, and most of the time, the dentist gave a hurried and less than thorough or satisfactory assessment - again, it just seemed designed to separate me from as much $$ as possible as quickly as possible. The kicker for me was when they conducted an entire appointment USING ANOTHER PERSON'S DENTAL RECORD!!! Then they tried to charge me for correcting a flawed filling that they had done only a year or two before. My last appointment, they took a huge number of X-Rays, all of which showed no cavitites. Then the dentist comes in an tells me I need 3 fillings??!! I got a 2nd opinion from another local dentist and he said I didn't need the fillings. FInal point, I left after being there 9 yrs - Dr. Thomas never even called to inquire why - that speaks volumes. If you care about your teeth, don't go to the Dental Spa.
