He pretended to be helpful, and acted like he was going out of his way to help me, like he was doing me a huge favor, when in actuality, he was looking for a way to charge me outrageously for services I could have waited to receive. His tools broke in the middle of giving me a root canal, and when I left, he promised to call and make an appointment with me as soon as they were fixed. The call never came. I finally contacted them when bills were showing up without going through my insurance, and they claimed my insurance company wasn't working with them. They gave me the phone number of the insurance rep they were working with, and I called her only to find out it was Hemmert's office that wasn't cooperating, not insurance.

I had several things that needed fixing as a result of an accident, and they told me they wanted to take things "nice and slow." By the time they actually were ready to do anything, my insurance was up and I couldn't get anything fixed. I have a hole on one side of my mouth, a half of a root canal on the other, and several teeth that needed capping that hurt whenever I drink anything that isn't room temperature. It's something I have to learn to live with, though, thanks to the kind service Dr. Hemmert offered. I'm so glad he went so out of his way to help me.
