You only have one time to do it right, ask if the person doing your braces is an ORTHODONTIST! (see the American Association of Orthodontists for detailed information- www.braces.org). Dr. Gary Carter is an Orthodontist with offices in Sandy, Utah. He loves orthodontics, snowboarding, flyfishing, mountain biking, riding motorcycles, repairing antique clocks, playing the guitar, his lovely wife and family, and a great steak, but not necessarily in that order!

My son was born with a cleft palate 17 years ago. His mouth was full of crooked, out of control teeth. I worried for years for my son, the embarrassment he endured and his issues he may have growing up because of this. "Could we ever get them straightened out"? I took my son in for a couple of opinions from other Orthodontists, but Dr. Carter has a very strong demeanor about him and I felt that no problem would be too great for him to handle, and now almost three years later my son's teeth look beautiful! They are straight in the right place! I am so thankful for the opportunity we had for Dr. Carter to help my son. Also the staff is wonderful to work with, always smiling and cracking a silly comment that makes us laugh, they treat my son like gold.
We love them all!
