This man is a sadistic, cruel, and very sick person. I went to him yesterday to have a tooth extracted. I told him twice that the novacaine was not working, that my mouth was not numb. I didn’t know what he would want to do in this situation, but I certainly did not think that ripping and pulling my tooth out of my mouth was an option.
Not only was my mouth not numb, he also gave no warning, he said he wanted to look at something and then proceeding to tear and rip and pull and it was the most horrific pain I have experienced. I couldn’t make sense of what was happening. It was violent and aggressive and inhuman. I was screaming and still he didn’t stop.
He stopped at one point, I thought it was over and then felt that the tooth was still there. I begged him to stop but before I could react or fight back he was in my mouth again and it all started again.
When he finally got it out he put it in my face and said, “Look at how long the root is! That’s probably why you experienced some discomfort.” Some discomfort? I couldn’t believe he had said that.
It was the most excruciating pain imaginable. I have a high pain tolerance. I am not especially sensitive to pain. I have always been able to deal with it, breathe through it.
I had my kid at home with no meds for 36 hours of labor. That was awful pain.
I walked around in a broken leg for three days before a friend convinced me to go the er - I had thought it was a bad sprain. I have several tattoos. My point is that I do not like pain but I can withstand it.
Maybe if he had told me what he was doing I could have prepared myself. It would have still been awful. But without warning was abuse.
After all the pain and cruelty, he then refused to give me a script for pain medication to help in the first couple of days. The hygienist and the assistant and the front desk were just as confused as I was. Even if I had been totally numb it would still have been categorized as a difficult extraction and they charged me the highest price on the scale.
He told the staff that asked if he could give me medication that “She not getting any” and “She doesn’t need it”.
Dr. Burgar assaulted me and intentionally inflicted horrible pain and fear. He then used his power to make sure my pain continued. And it has. The first 24 hours were painful and he gave me no method to ease the pain.
I am telling my story and my experience so that maybe I can save someone from enduring the same experience.
Do not let this man anywhere you and especially not your mouth.
He is a sick man and he enjoys hurting people.

He once had a practice in Trophy Club Texas. In 2015, he put a temporary crown in my mouth, and disappeared in the middle of the night before completing the work, without contacting me in any way. Simply shut the doors.
