A native Texan, Dr. Kara Bailey was born in Pasadena and graduated as the Valedictorian of Deer Park High School in 1993. Dr. Bailey ventured to South Bend, Indiana on a softball scholarship to the University of Notre Dame where she graduated Magna Cumme Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997. Dr. Bailey returned home to attend dental school at The University of Texas - Houston and earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2001. She was honored to continue her studies in an orthodontic residency program at The University of Texas - Houston and earned a Masters of Science and a Certificate in Orthodontics in 2003. Dr. Bailey is an active member of many professional organizations including the Greater Houston Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Bailey has been blessed with two daughters, Madison and Mallory who keep her busy outside the office with their sports and school activities. Dr. Bailey Spent some time as a missionary in Ghana, West Africa while in Dental School and still holds a passion for mission work. She is a member of Monument in Deer Park where her father is the pastor.
