I had my crown pop off. I called for an appointment, but was told I didn't have to make an appointment, just come in during office hours. Since my son had already seen Dr. Bilder under similar circumstances, I knew to come prepared to wait. Knowing I would have to wait made it much easier because I brought plenty of paper work to do while I was there. I seriously thought I was going to lose my tooth because there's not much there, but Dr. Bilder looked at the x-ray and after checking my tooth declared it was fixable. He explained my post was a bit too short and would need to be replaced at a later time. He cemented my crown back in, and I was done. His office staff is very nice. I don't have insurance, and had been a bit nervous about what this would cost. The office visit, x-ray and cementing my crown back on came to a grand total of $<url removed>. Totally worth the trip from the beach. I was completely satisfied and very grateful. Would definitely recommend going to Dr. Bilder to anyone for their regular dental care.
Their dental equipment is always very clean. I can tell they sanitize it all the time. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. They always go above and beyond to make sure I understand every single detail about my dental procedures. I'm always able to get all my questions answered, and I'm never nervous about starting a procedure. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me.
I am new to the aea, and have not established a dentist yet. Of course, I broke a tooth to the gum over a weekend, and started my search for a dentist. I went in first thing Monday morning. they told me they were booked for the day, but if I would come back after 3, they would TRY to get the doctor to look at it. The receptionist made it perfectly clear that I would not be able to have a filling that day, but could perhaps have the rough spots ground down. The next day, I was flying out of town until the following Monday, so I wanted to have it looked at before I left. I did not want to wait until 3 and learn that I could not be seen. I left, went to another dentist, who took me in before lunch and performed an emergency root canal. I would have had serious problems if I had not been able to take care of this, so felt lucky to find the other dentist. I have now made the other one my full dentist. My decision was based upon the care given and attention to my emergency. I had heard good things about this dentist, but was turned off by their indifference about my problem. All things considered, I think I am better off with the other dentist, so I probably owe that receptionist a huge thanks.
