I was under the impression that my young son was in "good hands" with Dr Watson as his dentist - until a dental emergency arose and I took him to his office myself. Because of my work schedule, his father or grandmother usually took him to his dental appointments but I make sure he brushes everyday and cares for his teeth, and goes to his 6 month dental check up regularly. He woke up with terrible tooth pain one night and I called Dr Watson the next day to ask if he could see my son. He was able to so I rushed over to his office. I was appalled at how dirty and unorganized his office was! it was downright creepy. His demeanor was less than welcoming, in fact he barely talked to either of us and didn't tell us what he was looking at, what he thought, or what he was doing - he was very shaky, it looked like he had trouble seeing...
it was a terrible experience. I just wanted to pick up my son & run for the door. I asked him if he had a cavity or an infection - he said he had no infection. He slapped a "temporary medicated filling" on my son's tooth and sent us on our way. Told us to come back in a week. I had already decided that I would never take my son back there again. I was referred to Smile Builders in Lancaster and took my son there today - they were absolutely wonderful but I was HORRIFIED by what they found in my son's mouth - the cavities, the decay, the condition of my little boy's teeth were awful! I was beside myself, as a parent. My son takes good care of his teeth, and I just had no idea how this could be!! He had cavities in between several of his teeth, and he had to have a baby root canal done today, a silver crown placed on it and another cavity filled. He will have to go back to have more dental work done as well... I was so disgusted & upset that ALL THIS TIME his teeth were NOT being properly cared for or monitored by Dr Watson!!! And after meeting him first hand and being in his office - I am not surprised - but I am disgusted! I am writing this review so that noone else has to go through what my son went through!!

Dr. Watson is the best. A no-nonscence dentist. Find the problem and works with you on the solution. Pricing was good and He really knows his stuff.
