Best dental visit I have had in awhile, the staff was very nice and friendly and they really got a handle on my dental problems. They were able to see me the same day I called with a problem. I would reccmmend them to anyone.

Have been going to American Dental in Hamburg for a few years. I have good insurance which covers all routine cleanings and x-rays ect... as well as good oral health. On my last visit I was told it was time for my routine x-rays. I believed them only to get a bill a few months later. I argued with my insurance company only to find out it was the dentist who took too many x-ray. The x-ray were only allowed once a year and they had taken them at my previous 6 month cleaning. They are nice but WAY overbooked and the staff is clearly overworked. They should really allow for more time in between appointments if they want to keep any business. They could have definitely been more gentle while they were cleaning my teeth. It wasn't too terrible, but I definitely wasn't comfortable. I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. Not only was I not able to watch TV during my dental procedure, I couldn't even read a magazine or look out the window. I was extremely bored the entire time. Sometimes, I have to persuade them that I have an important concern that needs their attention. There have been times that they've paid attention to my concerns, but not many.
