Usually when I leave the dentist, I can tell a difference in how much cleaner my mouth is, but I couldn't really tell when I left their office. It wasn't as clean as I was hoping it would be. They made sure that their qualifications were obvious. I was confident that I was under the care of a professional. I was worried that I was going to be in a lot of pain during my procedure, but they gave me a local anesthetic that took the pain away. I was very comfortable the whole time. They didn't seem too happy to be helping me. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but they could have been nicer. They didn't tell me very much about my treatments' risks and benefits. I still felt like I had to do my own research. I had a root canal done which he informed me would be an hour or so. After 3 hours he was finished and made me a crown in the office. The crown was extrememly large and I questioned that. After a few weeks of adjusting the crown, it had done damage by rubbing on my lower tooth causing it to need a root canal as well due to shifting my crown from that tooth. He did not stand behind any of his work. I ended up at a different dentist and had to have a new crown made. He did have no choice but to refund the money I paid. Now over two years later the tooth that he did the root canal on is not correct and I have another infection.
